I’m Kate, Founder of Kate’s Bakes. Baking has always played a huge role in my life, acting as a consistent source of comfort; from baking apple fritters with my Dad, to creating modified comfort foods for my husband (he has a dairy allergy). After a lifetime of baking for friends and family, creating my own recipes on a whim, and googling any and every ‘science of baking’ question I had, I finally decided to scratch my baking itch and complete the Baking and Pastry Arts Program at Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. While I, of course, can never turn down a sweet treat or a slice of freshly baked bread, my true passion lies in sharing my creations with others. This propelled me into creating Kate’s Bakes, an organic home bakeshop out of my very own kitchen! At Kate’s Bakes, we sell a wide variety of ‘Home Baked Happiness’, including a selection of breads, pastries, cookies, and cakes. Flavors, designs, ingredients, and finishing touches can be customized to fit your unique need, allergy / intolerance, party theme, or celebration. I love working with people to make sure they get exactly what they envision!

As someone who prioritizes the quality of the foods I put in my body on a personal level, my Kate’s Bakes creations are no different. Ingredients are organic, and I can make allergen / food modifications so no sweet tooth goes unsatisfied! Have a gluten intolerance, but crave that crisp and fluffy morning bagel? No problem! Creating gluten free and dairy free options is one of my favorite ways to get creative and stretch the boundaries of traditional baking.
